The 18-hole championship course at Chagrin Valley Country Club–one of only 26 Stanley Thompson-designed courses in the US–is the realization of Thompson's vision to showcase the land's natural terrain and beauty. Blessed with lush natural topography and rolling hills, the course takes advantage of the rivers that meander through holes 2, 12 and 14, as well as a soaring natural rock formation that guards the green on hole 4, arguably one of the most beautiful–and testing–holes on the course.

We moved here from Cincinnati in 2008 for work. We chose CVCC for the well-rounded atmosphere of both adult and child amenities—including outstanding summertime activities, lovely dining options and the beautiful grounds. And for the opportunity to meet so many new families in the area. Chagrin Valley offers an environment that truly allows parents to feel comfortable making this a Club for the entire family. Our favorite experiences here are a collective memory of spending a portion of virtually every day of our summer at the Club together as a family.

The beautiful location and the reputation as a family-friendly club lead us to choose CVCC. The environment is very relaxed and accommodating and the chef and holiday events are amazing. We are big swimmers so we really appreciate the pool and the top-notch pool staff. Jamey grew up here in swimming program—which is still very solid and empowering. We love the swim team and swimming together as a family. I love to go up to the Club on a Sunday with my family and pretend I am on vacation—away from work and laundry and worries.

Jane and I joined CVCC for the tennis and shortly after became involved with golf. I still play tennis and golf and Jane has become quite the golfer. Jane and I will always cherish our lifelong friends at CVCC but we also appreciate the joy in making new friends each season. CVCC's membership is vibrant. We have a diverse membership that offers exposure to people from different backgrounds that increases the value of our country club. At the same time we remain a strong family oriented club. CVCC membership is one of the best investments I ever made. I'm looking forward to the second twenty years.
